Job Overview

This is a dual role of supporting India labour related compliance and being a member of the talent acquisition team
 
Key Responsibilities: -
LABOUR GOVERNANCE COMPLIANCE
- Staying abreast of any revisions or new statutory labor compliance requirements in the region
- Coordinating with our external vendor on the compliance calendar for each of the legal entities and implementing required submissions
- Reviewing the statutory documents
- Coordinating for authorized signatories prior to submitting the final documents to the India Government officials
- Monitoring of the expiry of multiple licenses
- Monitoring and managing contingent worker compliances
- Compliance Records Management
- Assists in developing a corporate and social sustainability framework
- Any other activities as assigned
RECRUITING
 
- Facilitates recruiting process with hiring manager (sourcing, interviewing and selection)
- Establishes and maintains open communication with supervisors and managers in determining recruiting needs
- Sources candidates, consistently evaluates current and new sourcing opportunities
- Ensures all pre-employment screening is completed
- Maintains legally required files for job openings and candidate selection
- Produces requested information for monthly reports as needed
- Performs project work related to ongoing recruiting initiatives
- Ensures metrics are achieved within Service Level Agreement
- Any other activities as assigned

Education/Qualifications

Bachelors degree (or country equivalent) in Human Resources

Experience

- 3 years to 5 years in labour compliance preferred and additionally recruiting experience will be an added advantage
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Presentation of problems to appropriate people in an objective and non-judgmental manner
- Ability to perform intermediate/advanced computer skills (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
- Ability to prioritize work and adaptability to changing work demands
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Ability to negotiate on issues
