Job Overview

- Design the country specific strategy for Digital and informatics Services, including DCT and other “eClinical” initiatives
- Lead the country specific business/legal entity establishment
- Identify and implement local solutions/strategies to ensure compliance with appropriate regulations with regards to data privacy and security requirements – i.e. local or in country servers, local language implementation, etc
- Establish country level organization to support business expansion
- Recruit, develop and retain technical, commercial and operational talent
- Work with local and global teams to support implementation of Digital and Informatics projects
- Coordinate with global team to expand global network to other APAC regions (Japan, Korea, etc)
- Participate in account planning and strategy for successful adoption of products and solutions
- Collaborate with local teams to lead customer needs analysis discussions and assist in the generation and design of Digital & Informatics solutions to drive industry adoption
- Assist in the creation of a standardized demonstration environment and structure for consistency in market messaging
- Supports Business Development from pre-sales support through presentations and demonstrations, sandbox evaluations, and provides strategic direction on the use of technology capabilities that may enhance opportunity for contract award
- Develop a deep understanding of customer technical infrastructure and business processes to provide solutions tailored to the needs of customers and the market
- Become a “trusted advisor” to clients focused on outcome-based benefits of technology adoption as an enabler to successful drug development
- Serve as technical expert in Digital & Informatics product suite and how they fit into client environment
- Assist in ensuring the correct product placement and value messages for Digital and Informatics solutions
- Lead a team that will support technical product demonstrations and completion of application and/or technical RFI/RFP responses
Support effective transition of new accounts to Customer Success team


- Bachelor's degree required in the Life Sciences, Business or Computer Science preferred; or equivalent years of experience
- Accomplished business and strategy leader, with expertise scaling new digital & informatics solutions
- Experience with leading in-country strategy and new technical deployments in the APAC region, China experience is preferred
- Account planning experience is preferred
- Exposure to SaaS software in the clinical trial or life science industry
- Minimum of three years of previous technical sales consulting experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of maintaining and curating SaaS solutions that support promote successful product demonstrations
- Exposure to formal sales methodologies
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent analytical skills, experience designing / applying software solutions to business process challenges
- Self-motivating, able to assume responsibility and work autonomously in a professional manner


- Requires a minimum of 10 years of experience in life sciences industry and/or medical/clinical operations or equivalent experience in other enterprise systems preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of team leadership experience
