Job Overview

- Legal Entity controllership responsibilities for multiple India legal entities. This is an individual contributor role
- Ensure compliance of operations with governing regulatory requirements
- Create, maintain and assume accountability for a culture of high customer service for internal customers.
- Responsible for controlling, monitoring and directing day today accounting entries in PS
- Ensure health of Balance Sheet by continuous monitoring of account balances, resolving reconciling items
- Bank reconciliations, Cash and Bank Reports (daily) and support cash flow forecasting
- Preparation of monthly invoices and revenue variance report.
- Continuous and effective maintenance of Intercompany balances with reconciliation, avoid out of balance and enable timely settlements
- Debtors Ageing and follow up with internal and external customers for overdue receivables, where applicable
- Preparation of monthly and annual MIS, up to Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow, Account wise schedules.
- Assist in preparation and presentation of financials, analytics where required to internal stakeholders
- Monthly / quarterly / half yearly compliances of Provident Fund, Profession Tax, TDS payment, GST, Income Tax and SEZ as applicable
- Preparation of the Annual Financials under India GAAP and handling statutory audit, Tax Audit etc., including liaising with external auditors
- Preparation of Tax returns including workings and enable filing
- Supporting various Tax filings, handle Assessments etc.,
- Any other support needed by Manager or other peers


Bachelor / Masters of Commerce
Chartered Accountant from Big 4 / CWA / CPA with around 5-6 years of post qualification industry experience
Candidate should be Bangalore based


- Expert working knowledge on India GAAP, US GAAP, India Tax laws
- Exposure and working knowledge on legal entity compliance, related laws
- Experience in captive IT, ITES industry is a must; exposure to Bio-pharma, CRO industry an added advantage
- Technical proficiency with People Soft ERP, Microsoft Office suite of applications
- Knowledge of SEZ, Payroll, Audits, Treasury and other sub-functions of Finance
- Excellent verbal and written language skills
- Ability to analyze & synthesize accounting information
